Back in Michigan

After coming back to Michigan in '09, we moved to 5724 Ridgeway dr. in Haslett. This is our first place as a whole family after your little sister was born. This was May of 2009.

Haslett T-Ball league
This year you played on the rec league t-ball team even though you were still in pre-school. You were supposed to be in kindergarten at least, but you did great. Your first coach was coach Ryan Day. He was a good coach.

Chicago

In early 2008, we moved to Chicago.5413 S.Nagle St.

This is where I really started seeing that you had a gift. One time you went with your Mom's family to Texas for almost a whole month. When you came back, you hadn't hit in that whole time period. Me and Uncle D took you and Evan outside in Evan and Carla's front yard and pitched a ball to you in what we thought was the dark.

In our basement watching TV
The street lights were on and I could barely see the ball myself. I oitched to you and, WHAM!! POW!! BOOM!! You hit everything that came your way as if it were the middle of the day. Me and Uncle D looked at each other in disbelief. This is what our dad dreamed about. You were it. This is when I knew that you were
gifted.
These were some of the best times of my life. It was just me and you, and we were in a new and exciting place.

On our Own

Soon me and you moved out of Grandma Bettye's. First we lived in East Lansing,MI at Twyckingham apartments on Hagadorn rd, right across the street from MSU's Hubbard Hall.

After that we moved to Lansing's south side, 321 E.Edgewood blvd.

It was sort of a rough neighborhood, but we were happy. This was around April of 2007. This is when I first realized that you were good at baseball. You would hit  balls thrown 20-30 feet in the air with this bat and you were barely 2 years old.

The Beginning...

You have been hitting a baseball since before you could walk. We lived at Grandma Bettye's at 2403 Dillingham  Ave. in Lansing at the time (mid-2005). It was the house I grew up in. Me and you slept in my old room in the basement and Grandma and your auntie Shy Shy slept upstairs. You know what? Your first word was "ball". True Story. Here's your first bat and ball. It used to shout out "single" or "double", etc. You loved it.
